What's the difference between flip horizontal and flip vertical?
Flip horizontal mirrors the picture left-to-right, like a reflection in a mirror — the most common request for selfies and screenshots. Flip vertical mirrors it top-to-bottom, upside down. You can apply both at once for a 180° flip.
Can I flip multiple pictures at once?
Yes. Drop up to 30 files in one go, set the flip direction for each, and use Download all to save every result.
Does it work on mobile?

Will flipping a picture reduce its quality?

Flip Image is a free, browser-based image flipper built for people who need a quick mirror image — for a logo, a screenshot, a photo shot the wrong way round — without installing anything or uploading files anywhere.

Under the hood the tool draws each picture onto an HTML5 Canvas with a horizontal and/or vertical scale transform, then re-encodes it at high quality. Because the work happens locally, nothing is sent to a server and there is no upload wait — even on a slow connection.

We do not collect or store your pictures. We do not ask for an account. You can use the tool with the network disconnected once the page has loaded.
